Valle del Bove, Etna Highlights and Lava Cave |
|

We will reach one of the slopes of an
ancient volcanic depression riding on off-road trails. We will walk along
wooded paths all the way to the huge Valle del Bove where you will be
shocked by breathtaking landscapes that represent all the beauty and
strength of Etna.
Follow it a fascinating descent "inside" the volcano. We will visit the
bowels of Etna to understand its evolution from the interior.

The tour, guided by an expert sicilian
sommelier, will drive you back in the centuries where in this monumental
site (the biggest on Etna) hundred people used to work restless from dawn
to dusk.
An incredible step back in our past to better understand how much the
vine cultivation and wine production affected life and culture of the
Etna people.

served with a selection of local delicacies, guested by this family, at
Pettodragone estate, based company will being familiar with the current
processes of production and how these people continue nowadays to turn
their passion in quality wines.

Tips for the excursion: |
|

At high altitude the temperature
is usually high, but some days might be windy; it is suggested to wear
summer clothes and a sweatshirt or a light coat. Also bring your bathing
suit and a beach towel. Always wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes
that are appropriate to hard grounds, never wear sandals or flip flops.
If you don't have trekking shoes or sneakers This is Etna will provide
you appropriate ones on request. Renting the shoes is included in the
excursion price.
If you are sensitive to the sun don't forget to bring sunscreen.
Pick up:
-we pick you up for free at your accommodation in Catania at about 9:00 a.m;
-if you are staying out of Catania we will organize a meeting point
according to your needs.
At the time of booking, please advise us of any special dietary
requirements.
